Required documentation varies by circumstance.  However, the basic documents for many taxpayers are:

• Proof of identity
• W-2s, 1099’s other sources of income (interest, dividends, investment income, retirement income)
• Business income (K-1, Rental income, receipts, financial statements)
• Documentation supporting applicable deductions
• Tax Returns for the prior 2 years (new clients)

We can begin preparing your return. However, we can not transmit until your W-2 has been received.

The fee is based on the complexity of the return.  Basic tax returns starting fee is $150 (includes early bird discount).  Discounts are also available for college students.

If you are unmarried and provide a home for a qualifying dependent. You may be able to file head of household.

A head of household is a single or unmarried taxpayer who pays at least 50% of the costs of supporting his or her household and lives with other qualifying family members for whom s/he provides support for more than half of the year.

An Enrolled Agent is an individual who holds the highest designation awarded by the IRS, to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

To obtain this credential an individual has to successfully pass a three-part comprehensive exam, pass a suitability check, and complete several hours of continuing education throughout the year.
